Nathan Ivens

Nathan Ivens has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Nathan currently serves as the Head of Procurement at Ramsay Health Care UK since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UCL as the Category Lead - STEM from November 2020 to February 2021, where they were responsible for developing a category strategy and recruiting a team. Nathan also held the position of Procurement and Supply Chain Director (Interim) at BMI Healthcare from March 2020 to September 2020. Before that, they worked at Bupa in various procurement management roles from 2016 to 2019, focusing on professional services and dental care. Nathan also served as the Head of Procurement - Medical and FM from July 2016 to April 2017. Earlier in their career, Nathan worked at Nuffield Health, where they were the Group Procurement & Facilities Director from February 2013 to February 2016, and the Group Procurement Director from June 2009 to February 2013. Nathan also served as the Supply Chain Lead at Nuffield Health from September 2006 to April 2008. Nathan's career began at NHS Supply Chain, where they worked as a Buyer from April 1997 to May 2000.

Nathan Ivens earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Swansea University, where they attended from 1990 to 1994.
