Babe Kawaii-Bogue, PhD, LCSW, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and as the Assistant Director of CAPS at Mills College, where initiatives such as the Black Mental Health Internship and Black Mental Health Track were founded and supervised. Previous experience includes serving as a Trauma, Grief & Loss Specialist at RAMS, Inc. and various roles at the University of Michigan, where involvement in diversity efforts and research supervision took place. Babe Kawaii-Bogue holds a PhD in Psychology and Social Work from the University of Michigan, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
