Research Pathologist at Rancho BioSciences

Thuy Can has a comprehensive work experience in the field of pathology. They started their career as a Pathology Resident at UCSF Medical Center in 2011 and subsequently held the same role at the University of Chicago Medicine in 2012. They then pursued a Surgical Pathology Fellow position at UCSF Medical Center in 2014. In 2015, Thuy Can became a Pathology Resident at the University of Chicago Medicine once again, completing their residency in 2016. They then joined the Regional Medical Center of San Jose as a Pathologist from 2017 to 2019. Thuy Can held the position of Consultant Pathologist at NGM Biopharmaceuticals from 2020 to 2021 and at Genomic Health from 2019 to 2021. They also served as a Pathologist at the ASSOCIATED PATHOLOGY MEDICAL GROUP from 2019 to 2021 and as a Research Pathologist at Rancho BioSciences from 2018 to the present. Currently, Thuy Can works as a Staff Pathologist at Exact Sciences starting in 2021.

Thuy Can obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from California State University, Fresno. This degree was completed between the years 2003 and 2007. Following this, Thuy Can pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at UC Irvine, starting in 2007 and finishing in 2011.
