Jordan Miller, Ph.D., is the principal investigator of the studies with Ataciguat as a Researcher and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Director of the Center for Surgical Excellence, and Director of the Cardiovascular Disease and Aging Program in the Kogod Center on Aging at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.
Through the use of molecular screening on human tissue, novel strains of genetically modified mice, and in vitro/cell culture methods, Dr. Miller's research aims to develop novel therapies for the treatment of cardiovascular disease and age-related pathologies. Research in his laboratory is supported by the National Institutes of Health.
