Dwayne Chapple has been serving as a Sergeant at the Orange County Sheriff's Department since July 2009, where responsibilities have included roles as CSU Sergeant, Internal Affairs Sergeant, and managing operations at the Theo Lacy Facility. Prior positions include Investigator for General Investigations and Auto Theft, as well as various Deputy Sheriff roles focusing on Patrol Operations, Jail Compliance and Training, and Central Men’s Jail custody operations. Additionally, since May 2013, Dwayne Chapple has been an Adjunct Instructor for Criminal Justice Academies at the Rancho Santiago Community College District. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Education with a minor in Instructional Technology from the State University of New York College at Potsdam and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the same institution.
