Oelzah Puckree

Oelzah Puckree has extensive work experience in various roles within the HR and talent management field. Oelzah currently serves as the Group Head of Organisational Effectiveness at Rand Mutual - RMA since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of the Bio-Mastery Alumni Advisory Board at Bio-Mastery For Business starting in December 2022. Oelzah also held the position of Lead of Talent Management at Sanlam starting in March 2020. Oelzah has experience in talent acquisition as the Head of Talent Acquisition at Old Mutual Limited from September 2018 to July 2019. Oelzah has expertise in talent, performance, and retention management, specifically in Old Mutual Emerging Markets, where they served as the Group Talent Management Lead at Old Mutual South Africa from January 2016 to September 2018. Oelzah also worked at Truworths as the Group Team Lead for Centralised Recruitment and later as the Group HR Development Manager from July 2010 to December 2015. Their experience in HR consultancy includes a position at Deloitte South Africa as a Human Capital Consultant from February 2009 to June 2010. Oelzah started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at STS Executive Placements in 2007.

Oelzah Puckree completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management at Stellenbosch University in 2007. Oelzah then pursued further education at the University of Johannesburg, where they earned an Honours degree in Human Resource Development from 2009 to 2010. Later, from 2014 to 2015, they obtained a Master's degree in Leadership, Performance Management, and Change from the University of Johannesburg.
