Tawnie Bassett-Parkins

Tawnie Bassett-Parkins has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tawnie started their career as an Accountant-Auditor at County of San Luis Obispo in 1985 and continued in the same role at Guzman & Gray, CPAs from 1988 until 1990. In 1991, they joined Nissan Motor Corporation as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, where they led a team of 25 and was responsible for financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. In 1999, Tawnie became an Independent Consultant, CPA at Corporate Financial Projects, working on a long-term project focusing on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and providing recommendations for internal control improvements. In 2009, they joined L.A. Spas as the Vice President of Finance & Administration, overseeing various functions such as accounting, logistics, purchasing, IT, and payroll. During their time at L.A. Spas, they were involved in the company's sale to a competitor in 2014, managing all aspects of the Change of Control process. Tawnie's most recent position is Chief Financial Officer at Rand Technology, where they have been since 2015. Rand is a technology hardware supply chain company that offers comprehensive services to Fortune 500 customers worldwide, with Tawnie leading the financial operations and working on socially responsible, sustainable practices.

Tawnie Bassett-Parkins holds a Bachelor's degree in Business - Accounting from the College of Business at California State University-Long Beach. Additionally, they completed a certificate program at California State University, Fullerton specializing in Forensic Accounting, Fraud Detection, and Business Valuation.
