Alex Lefebvre

Alex Lefebvre, PhD, is an experienced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) engineer with a strong background in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Senior CFD Engineer at Rand Worldwide, Alex has previously contributed to the Haas F1 Team as a CFD Engineer. Academic roles include serving as a Research Assistant in the CFD Laboratory and a Teaching Assistant in the Mechanical Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Miami. Earlier professional experience includes an internship at Snecma on the CFD Code Validation Team and a research internship at the University of Arizona's Experimental Fluid Team. Alex holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational and Experimental Fluid Dynamics from the University of Miami and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d'Aérotechnique.
