Jeffrey L Hayman

Jeff Hayman is a leader, investor, advisor and entrepreneur in the global insurance industry as well as a philanthropist in his home community. His background includes many years of leadership and governance in major insurance organizations such as:

Jeff is currently a member of the board of trustees of the Food Bank of South Jersey. He is also Chairman and co-founder of Hungry Minds, Inc., a 501(c)3 charitable private foundation established in 2019 in New Jersey, USA. Hungry Minds focuses on public school students' food security needs and academic opportunities.

He is also still active in the global insurance industry as founder and CEO of Lakeview Timbers LLC, through which he offers advice and co-investment in insurance industry opportunities. Lakeview Timbers currently has a portfolio of advisory and co-investment arrangements that range from a west coast hedge fund to several promising startup companies.

He recently concluded two years leading a related entity, Lakeview Acquisition Corporation, which was a SPAC looking for a business combination in the insurance industry.

In the past, Jeff has served on the boards of 21st Century Insurance and Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance, both publicly traded insurance companies listed on the New York and the Tokyo Stock Exchange, respectively. He also has extensive experience working with financial regulators in both the United States and abroad.

Jeff is a past Chairman of the Foreign Non-Life Insurance Association in Japan, a past member of the US Korea Business Council executive committee. He also served for several years as a member of the Board of Directors of both The Korea Society and The Japan Society, both in New York City.

He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science with honors from Saint Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota and an MBA degree from the University of Hartford, Barney School of Business and Public Administration, West Hartford Connecticut. He also holds Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations.
