Cody Edwards

Cody Edwards possesses a diverse professional background with experience in both education and regulatory roles. Currently serving as a Commissioner at the NC Oil and Gas Commission since January 2023, Cody is responsible for establishing rules and regulations related to oil and gas exploration in North Carolina. Prior to this role, Cody held the position of Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for Staywell Senior Care at Randolph Health, engaging with various stakeholders and the general public. Notably, Cody has extensive experience in education, having worked as an Exceptional Children's Teacher in the Randolph County School System, where responsibilities included developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and facilitating lessons for students with special needs. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
