Kenneth Shelton

Vice President Of Engineering at Randori

Kenneth Shelton has a wealth of experience in the engineering and information security fields. Kenneth began their career in 2006 as an Information Assurance Engineer at Sypris Electronics, LLC, where they were responsible for vulnerability research and exploitation, IT security auditing and risk analysis, and system administration. In 2008, they took on the role of Principal Intrusion Engineer at ManTech International Corporation, where they led teams, conducted technical interviews, and developed security initiatives. In 2011, they moved on to Crucial Security as a Principal Security Researcher, where they were responsible for information and system security research, threat and vulnerability assessments, and software development life cycle. In 2012, they co-founded NetWatcher and served as the Chief Technology Officer, where they managed board engagements, drove channel partner support, and created a Minimum Viable Product and marketing plan. In 2017, they joined Qualys as Vice President of Engineering, where they led a team of 10 direct and 90 total staff, and introduced best software engineering practices. Finally, in 2020, they joined Randori, an IBM Company, as Vice President of Engineering.

Kenneth Shelton obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering & Computer Science from the University of South Florida. Kenneth also obtained certifications from (ISC)2, Scrum Alliance, and EC-Council in July 2014 (CISSP), July 2010 (Certified Scrum Master (CSM)), and April 2014 (CEH) respectively.
