Catherine Mulholland has a diverse work experience in scientific research and laboratory roles. Catherine started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Anglia Ruskin University in 2007. Catherine then worked as an Assistant Scientific Officer at the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute from 2008 to 2016. In 2016, they became a Junior Research and Technology Associate in Molecular Biology at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) until 2018. Catherine then pursued a Post Doctoral Position at the IOCB Prague - Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences from 2018 to 2023. In 2023, they joined Randox as a Senior Scientist.
Catherine Mulholland's education journey began in 2002 when they enrolled at Anglia Ruskin University. Catherine pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons degree in Biomedical and Forensic Science, which they successfully completed in 2006. In 2006, they continued their education at Anglia Ruskin University and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Forensic Science and Technology in 2007. Catherine's academic pursuits didn't stop there, as they went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology at the University College Dublin in 2010. Catherine completed their PhD program in 2015, furthering their knowledge and expertise in the field of Molecular Biology.
