Jemma Gurney

Jemma Gurney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jemma started their career in 2012 as a Sales Floor Team Member at Nike Outlet, where they worked until 2015. After that, they worked as a Bartender at Viva Bar & Club from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Science Technician at St Marys College, where they worked until 2020. Jemma then worked as a Lecturer of Science at Hugh Baird College from 2020 to 2021. Following this, they became a Teacher of Science at Halewood Academy Centre for Learning from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Jemma is working as a Research and Development Scientist at Randox, starting from March 2023.

Jemma Gurney's education history includes completing a PGCE in Biology at Liverpool Hope University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science with Applied Criminology from The Manchester Metropolitan University, which they pursued from 2014 to 2018.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jemma Gurney holds certifications in First Aid at Work from St Johns Ambulance, obtained in December 2018, and a Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) from GOV.UK, obtained in September 2018.
