Jemma Gurney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jemma started their career in 2012 as a Sales Floor Team Member at Nike Outlet, where they worked until 2015. After that, they worked as a Bartender at Viva Bar & Club from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Science Technician at St Marys College, where they worked until 2020. Jemma then worked as a Lecturer of Science at Hugh Baird College from 2020 to 2021. Following this, they became a Teacher of Science at Halewood Academy Centre for Learning from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Jemma is working as a Research and Development Scientist at Randox, starting from March 2023.

Jemma Gurney's education history includes completing a PGCE in Biology at Liverpool Hope University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science with Applied Criminology from The Manchester Metropolitan University, which they pursued from 2014 to 2018.
