Mak Intwala began their work experience in 2001 as a Sales and Operations Manager at Discount Car and Truck Rental. Mak gained valuable leadership skills and learned the importance of putting people first. In 2006, they joined Randstad Canada as a Staffing Consultant and worked their way up to becoming the Vice President of Eastern Canada for Randstad Engineering. In this role, they excelled in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Throughout their career, Mak has honed their communication and relationship-building skills, making him a valuable asset in any organization.

Mak Intwala attended Vanier College from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a DEC in Business Administration, Management and Operations. In 2001 to 2002, Mak attended Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne, specializing in Leadership and organizational development. They also acquired several certifications, including "Nano Tips to Enhance Your Communication with Shadé Zahrai" from LinkedIn in 2023, "Pitching Your Ideas Strategically" from LinkedIn in 2021, "Virtual Selling for Sales Professionals" from LinkedIn in 2021, and "The Art of Connection: 7 Relationship-Building Skills Every Leader Needs Now (getAbstract Summary)" from LinkedIn in 2020.
