Michael Moss

Michael Moss has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Michael is currently working at Rangeland Energy as the Sr. Vice President of Business Development, a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Business Development at Rangeland Energy from June 2015 to January 2022.

Before joining Rangeland Energy, Moss worked at Oxy as the Corporate Director of Social Responsibility from May 2011 to April 2015.

Michael also worked as an Independent Consultant for ExxonMobil Development Company, where they served as the PNG LNG Upstream LANCO Business Development Lead for the Papua New Guinea Liquefied Natural Gas (PNG LNG) project operator, Esso Highlands Limited (EHL), from August 2010 to April 2011. Michael also served as a Sr. Advisor/Consultant for the LANCO/SELCA Task Force from May 2010 to August 2010.

Earlier in their career, Moss worked as the Chief Operating Officer of EMS Mexico and Latin America at EMS USA, Inc. from January 2009 to April 2010.

Michael also had a long tenure at URS Corporation, where they held various roles including VP Latin American Operations from January 2000 to December 2008, and Regional Business Manager for Latin America from January 1997 to December 1999.

Michael Moss obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, which they attended from 1983 to 1988. Michael then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in American/U.S. Law/Legal Studies/Jurisprudence from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where they enrolled from 1990 to 1993. Following this, Michael furthered their education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management with an emphasis on legal studies, which they achieved between 1991 and 1994.
