Richard Grzybowski

Richard Grzybowski has a extensive background in the field of photonics and systems engineering. Richard currently serves as the VP of Technologies at RANOVUS Inc. Prior to that, they held roles such as Chairman of the Board at the MIT Microphotonic Center Communication Technology Roadmap, General Manager of Silicon Photonics and Director of Research and Development at MACOM, and Chief Technology Officer at Photonic Controls, LLC. Richard also served as the Executive Director of OpSIS Center and General Chair of the IEEE Optical Interconnects Conference. Additionally, Richard has held leadership positions at the Optoelectronics Industry Development Association (OIDA), Corning, and the International Council on Systems Engineering. Richard'sexperience includes leading various initiatives, developing roadmaps, managing research and development projects, and driving innovation in the field of photonics and systems engineering.

Richard Grzybowski earned a Ph.D in Electromagnetics & Device Physics from the University of Connecticut from 1986 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer at Work from 1983 to 1985. Richard also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Yale University between 1981 and 1983.
