Amelie Silfverstolpe has a diverse professional background with a strong focus on sustainable development and community engagement. Since 2013, Amelie has worked at Axfoundation, initially as Programansvarig Inkluderande samhälle and currently as Ansvarig Hållbar innovation, promoting circular economy and sustainable consumption. In parallel, Amelie serves on the National Committee for Raoul Wallenberg's Memory at the Raoul Wallenberg Academy, aiming to inspire civil courage. Additional leadership roles include serving on the board of Vidarkliniken, chairing Raoul Wallenberg Differencemakers, and founding Volontärbyrån, which has connected thousands with volunteer opportunities. Amelie's educational credentials include studies in sustainability at Novare Leadership and various degrees in Political Science and leadership from institutions such as UCLA and Lund University.

Akademin grundades år 2001 av bland andra Raoul Wallenbergs syster Nina Lagergren och fram till hösten 2012 drevs akademin på ideell basis.
