Tracy Wetter, PhD, has over 10 years of experience in medical communications and scientific publications. Tracy is currently working as a Medical Communications Consultant at Cascade Consulting Ltd, where they provide pharmaceutical medical communications services. Prior to that, they were part of the team at Rapid Commercialization Partners, specializing in medical communications.
From 2020 to 2022, Tracy held various roles at Ashfield MedComms, an Ashfield Health company. Tracy served as the allegro. US Program Lead and Scientific Group Director. As the US Program Lead, they focused on leading the allegro program in the US, while in their role as Scientific Group Director, they oversaw scientific projects and initiatives.
Tracy also worked at Endo International plc in 2020 as the Director of Scientific Communications, where they were responsible for leading scientific communications efforts. Before that, they were employed at Incyte from 2016 to 2020. During their time at Incyte, Tracy held the positions of Director of Global Internal Medical Education/Training and Director of Publications and Scientific Communications.
In 2016, Tracy briefly worked as a self-employed Medical Communications Consultant, providing support to pharmaceutical companies and medical communication agencies in various activities such as medical affairs strategy, publication planning, medical writing, and new business development.
Tracy has also gained experience at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. as an Associate Director of Scientific Communications in 2015, where they played a crucial role in transforming the Scientific Communications Department into a Center of Excellence. Additionally, Tracy worked at EMD Serono, Inc. as the Global Publication Lead for NDD (neurodegenerative diseases) and Immunology, and at Alexion Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Manager/Manager of Scientific Communications, focusing on the communication and management of scientific information related to specific pharmaceutical products.
Tracy Wetter, PhD, completed their education in a chronological manner, starting at Carroll College from 1993 to 1997. During this period they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology. Tracy then advanced their studies further at Montana State University-Bozeman, from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microbiology/Mycology.
