Carmelo Insalaco

Carmelo Insalaco is an accomplished executive in the healthcare technology sector with extensive experience in leadership roles. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Rapid Health since June 2019, Insalaco has spearheaded the development of autonomous clinical systems, notably the Smart Triage system utilized by the NHS. Prior to this, Insalaco served as Chief Commercial Officer at Doctor Care Anywhere, enhancing telemedicine services, and held senior positions at International SOS and GE Healthcare, where strategic digital initiatives and eCommerce solutions were developed. Insalaco began a career in software design at Xerox, focusing on creating impactful software features within agile settings. Carmelo Insalaco holds a First Class BSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, along with A-Level qualifications in Business & Economics, Italian, Information Technology, and Mathematics.
