Ciaran McGauran

Ciaran McGauran has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Ciaran worked at Rapid7 from 2015 onwards as a Lead Software Engineer. Prior to that, they spent several years at Sage, starting as a Level 3 Support Engineer in 2008 and then progressing to the role of Level 3 Senior Support Engineer. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an Integrations and Extensibility Consultant, where they were responsible for designing and developing add-ons and APIs for the core product. Additionally, they were a Software Engineer at Sage from 2013 to 2015. Before joining Sage, Ciaran worked at Accenture as a CMS Developer, primarily focused on upgrading an existing content management system. Their earliest work experience was at Bord na Móna, where they served as a LIMS Developer and was involved in implementing an electronic solution for managing laboratory data.

Ciaran McGauran attended the National College of Ireland from 1999 to 2004. During this time, they pursued a degree in Computer Science and Chemistry, and ultimately graduated with Honours.
