Guðlaugur Finnbogason

Guðlaugur Finnbogason has a diverse work experience starting with their current role as a Lead Software Engineer at Rapid7, which they began in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Canalix Ltd as a Lead Software Engineer from February 2019 to July 2021. Guðlaugur also worked at GoPro as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2014 to July 2021. Before that, Guðlaugur was the Co-Founder/CEO of GG Software/Spread Things from June 2014 to January 2017, and the Co-Founder/CEO of ViralTrade from May 2012 to January 2017. Guðlaugur began their career as an Assistant Teacher at the University of Iceland in September 2011, where they worked until January 2013.

Guðlaugur Finnbogason holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Háskóli Íslands. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Háskóli Íslands. Additionally, between 1999 and 2003, they attended Kvennaskólinn í Reykjavík, where they studied Natural Sciences.
