Gwen Betts

Gwen Betts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gwen started their career as a Web Designer/Developer in 2001. From 2003 to 2008, Gwen worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Heartland Healthcare Services. In 2008, they transitioned to become a Faculty Consultant, Web Designer, and UI Developer at Bowling Green State University.

In 2009, Gwen joined Thrive Internet Marketing as a Support Specialist, Web Designer, and UI Developer. Gwen later took on the role of Lead Web Designer and UI Developer before becoming the Director of Web Operations from 2013 to 2014.

Gwen then moved on to Mendix in 2014, where they worked as a Senior Brand Designer and Enterprise UX Consultant until 2016. Gwen then joined Komand as Head of Product Design and Marketing before being promoted to Director of Customer Experience in 2016.

Since 2017, Gwen has been working at Rapid7. Gwen started as a Director of UX and then became the Director of Product Experience Design and Delivery in 2019. In 2020, they took on the role of Director UX, UX Leader - Detection and Response. Currently, Gwen holds the position of Senior Director of UX at Rapid7, a role they have been in since 2022.
