Kanika Gupta

Kanika Gupta started their career as a Chartered Accountant Intern at R.K. Deepak & Co. from 2008 to 2011. Kanika then worked at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor focused on financial services from October 2013 to October 2015. Following that, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Auditor in 2015. In 2016, they became a Senior Financial Auditor at KPMG, specializing in external hedge fund audits. Kanika then transitioned to Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd. in 2017, where they served as the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Project Manager, overseeing internal control assessments and reporting for a power utility company. In 2019, Kanika joined Forrester as an Internal Auditor for a short period. Kanika then moved to Amazon as a Senior Program Manager from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they are employed at Rapid7 since 2021, initially as a Manager of IT Audit and later promoted to the position of Senior Manager Internal Audit.

Kanika Gupta completed their education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2007 to 2012. Kanika obtained a degree in Chartered Accountancy, which is equivalent to the US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kanika Gupta also holds several certifications. Kanika earned the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in April 2019. In May 2018, they obtained the Certified Sarbanes-Oxley Expert (CSOE) certification from the Sarbanes Oxley Compliance Professionals Association (SOXCPA). Furthermore, they obtained the Chartered Accountant (CA) certification, equivalent to the US CPA, from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in November 2012.
