Lia Grogan

Lia Grogan is a Senior Software Engineer at Rapid7 since March 2024, previously holding the position of Software Engineer at Signifyd from September 2021 to March 2024, where Lia contributed as a core member of a backend engineering team focusing on microservices, cloud infrastructure, and API development. Lia started in software engineering at Olus Education as a Graduate Software Engineer and later served as a Tutor, teaching programming skills to young people and developing curricula in UX design. Earlier experience includes a role as a Business Analyst at ION, involved in Agile software development, system automation, data analysis, and testing processes, as well as serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Queen Mary University of London. Lia's academic background includes an MSc in Software Development from Queen's University Belfast and a BA in Nanoscience from Trinity College Dublin, along with a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.
