Özgür Genc (Ozzie)

Özgür (Ozzie) Genc has a diverse and extensive work experience. Özgür (Ozzie) is currently working as the Head of Engineering, Enterprise Applications at Rapid7 since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Bain External Advisor at Bain Advisor Network (BAN) starting from May 2021. Özgür (Ozzie) was offered to remain in the BAN network as an extended advisory team member by the Bain leadership.

Previously, Özgür worked as the VP of Digital Transformation and Enterprise SaaS Go To Market at HighRadius from February 2021 to September 2022. Özgür (Ozzie) was responsible for driving enterprise software implementation, defining SaaS product strategies, outbound marketing operations, and delivering net new sales growth for Fortune enterprise clients.

Before that, Özgür held the position of an Expert Associate Partner at Bain & Company, where they led and delivered digital transformations, shared services, and finance transformation engagements with Global Fortune clients and Private Equity teams. Özgür (Ozzie) also identified transformational opportunities and delivered significant savings while serving decision-making CFOs, COOs, and CIOs.

Prior to joining Bain & Company, Özgür worked at Procter & Gamble, where they held various roles. Özgür (Ozzie) was the Global Head of Digital Strategy, Shared Services, and Technology for Customer Service/Order-To-Cash (OTC) from October 2017 to March 2020. Özgür (Ozzie) led P&G's largest AI and Automation initiative and expanded the global OTC shared services operational excellence. Özgür (Ozzie) also served as the CIO for Turkey/Caucasia Hub and Digitization/Innovation Leader for EMEA Supply Chain from January 2015 to October 2017. Additionally, Özgür was the CTO and Global Shared Services Leader for Brand Building Services from February 2013 to February 2015.

At the start of their career, Özgür worked at P&G in various roles, including Corporate Restructuring Program and Technology Leader, Department Head, CTO for Eastern Europe Supply Chain and Data/Analytics, Senior Data Scientist for European Fabric & Home Care Business, and Data & Analytics and B2B Systems Leader.

Overall, Özgür has a wealth of experience in digital transformation, shared services, technology, and leadership roles in global companies.

Özgür (Ozzie) Genc holds an Engineer's Degree in Electrical & Electronics from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University). Özgür (Ozzie) later pursued an MBA from Koc University & London Business School. In addition to their formal education, Özgür has obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera, ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
