Parker Robinson

Parker Robinson has a diverse background in the field of IT. Parker began their career at Professional Computer Solutions Inc in 2011, where they provided support for network and desktop systems, as well as networked facility security systems. In 2012, they joined Pro Tek Integrations, where they supported a cross-platform network and performed maintenance on the entire network stack. From 2013 to 2015, Parker worked at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration as a Network Analyst and IT Support Specialist, supporting network and desktop systems for the National Data Buoy Center. In 2016, they joined Loop1 as a Field Systems Engineer II, providing on-site and remote support for the SolarWinds Product Suite. Parker then transitioned to the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General in 2017, where they served as a Network Engineer, providing support for the national DHS network and all supported components. Parker handled tasks such as firewall rule change requests, network monitoring, decommissioning equipment, and troubleshooting network connectivity. Parker returned to Loop1 in 2019 as a Sales Engineer and Technical Account Manager. Parker is currently employed at Rapid7 since December 2020 as a Technical Account Manager.

Parker Robinson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from the University of South Alabama from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, Parker obtained a High School Diploma from St. John High School from 1997 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Parker Robinson has obtained multiple certifications including an InsightIDR Specialist certification from Rapid7 in June 2023, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021, and an Advanced Vulnerability Manager certification from Rapid7 in January 2021, among others.
