Roopali R. Shah

Roopali R. Shah has extensive work experience in the field of medical research and engineering. Roopali R. currently serves as a Senior Program Manager at RapidAI since 2022. Prior to this, Roopali worked at Medtronic Brain and Spine Therapies from 2015 to 2022, holding various roles including Principal Test Engineer, Technical Lead, Senior Test Engineer, Technical Lead, and Test Engineer.

Before joining Medtronic, Roopali worked at Dātu Health as a Quality Engineer in 2014 and at Medtronic Brain Therapies - Neurosurgery as a Contract Test Engineer from 2013 to 2014. Roopali R. also gained research experience at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where they worked as a Graduate Researcher in 2012, focusing on developing bio-adsorbent polymeric surfaces. Prior to this, they worked as a Professional Research Assistant at the university from 2009 to 2011, conducting research on acute lung injury and patient ventilator therapies.

Earlier in their career, Roopali worked as a Professional Research Assistant at the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes in 2008, researching altered cell signaling in type 1 diabetes. Roopali R. also worked as a Student Research Assistant in the same center in 2008, where they monitored human T cell responses for clinical trials and R&D purposes. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2006 to 2007, focusing on pain cell signaling mechanisms for early intervention.

Throughout their career, Roopali has developed expertise in various techniques and skills including test design, web service REST requests, MATLAB, Linux, scientific writing, photo-curable polymerization, and experimental design, among others. Roopali R. Shah holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering from the University of Colorado Denver. Roopali R. completed their education in 2013. Prior to that, Roopali earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biochemistry, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2008. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a Green Belt Certification (GB) from Medtronic in November 2018.
