Dave Sehnert, ENP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of public safety and emergency communications. Dave is currently serving as the Head of Public Safety Partnerships at RapidSOS. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Strategy and Partnerships for NG911 at RapidSOS as well.

In 2020, Dave worked as the Secretary and Commissioner at the NG9-1-1 Interoperability Oversight Commission. In this role, they oversaw key programs related to interoperability in NG9-1-1, including the PSAP Credentialing Agency and the NG9-1-1 Forest Guide.

Before joining the NG9-1-1 Interoperability Oversight Commission, Dave worked at Mission Critical Partners from 2014 to 2021. Dave started as a Senior Consultant and later became the Director of Innovation and Integration. During their time at Mission Critical Partners, Dave contributed to technical projects such as the NG9-1-1 Cost Estimate for the U.S. Congress, supported NG9-1-1 growth initiatives, and provided thought leadership and technical expertise to public safety initiatives at local, regional, and national levels. Dave also managed the implementation of various public safety applications and conducted comprehensive technical reviews for vendor solutions.

From 2001 to 2014, Dave worked at Intrado, where they held various roles including Senior Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Program Manager, and Project Manager. Dave specialized in government solutions, advanced 9-1-1 solutions, and wireless service delivery.

In addition to their corporate work, Dave Sehnert also served as a member of the NENA ICE Steering Committee from 2017 to 2021.

Dave Sehnert, ENP has a strong educational background in various fields. In 1995, they began their education at Albion College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management. After graduating in 1999, they continued their studies at Ball State University, where they obtained a Masters of Science degree in Information and Communication Sciences in 2000. During their undergraduate studies, Dave also participated in a Study Abroad program at the University of London in 1998, focusing on International Business.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dave Sehnert has also obtained the Emergency Number Professional certification from NENA: The 9-1-1 Association in April 2014. This certification demonstrates their expertise in emergency number systems and further enhances their qualifications in the field.
