Sara Kangaspeska

Sara has almost a decade of experience in the commercialization of research-based inventions to spin-outs and IP licensing, especially in biotech and molecular medicine. After receiving her Ph.D. from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Germany, Sara worked as a postdoc and academia-industry liaison at the Finnish Institute for Molecular Medicine (FIMM). Before joining Rappta Therapeutics, Sara was Head of Innovation at HIS, the commercialization arm of the University of Helsinki, and IPR Manager at the Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) where she was responsible for VTT's broad chemistry and biotech IPR portfolio. Sara's current primary affiliation is with h Innovestor Life Science as Investment Director.
