John Norden

John Norden has over 25 years of professional experience in the technology industry. In 1993, they began their career as a Soldier in the US Army. After completing their service, they then worked as a Software Applications Engineer at ICED from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Pivot3 as a QA Manager/Staff Engineer, where they were the Chief Architect and developer for Engineering's internal Infrastructure Automation. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at Alert Logic, where they held numerous roles, including Senior Director, Platform Architecture and Technical Product Management, and was responsible for Alert Logic's SaaS Infrastructure & Platform, including budget. In 2019, they joined Infocyte as the Head of Product & Engineering. Most recently, they began working at Raptor Technologies, LLC in 2021, where they are the Senior Director, Infrastructure and Architect, DevSecOps & SRE. John is focused on crafting shared software services, platform systems, and deployment pipelines to ensure that software, services, and infrastructure are delivered to a scalable and secure environment.

John Norden obtained a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, followed by an MS in Cybersecurity and an MBA from the same institution. John also holds an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in August 2019.
