J Mark Tumblin

J Mark Tumblin has over 35 years of experience in healthcare information technology. J Mark began their career in 1982 as a Clinical Specialist at Roche Sequencing USA. In 1996, they founded Ascent HIT and served as the Delivery Consultant. In 2002, they joined Ascent Health Information Technology as a Healthcare IT Advising and in 2013, they became the Healthcare Information Technology Advisor COO/CIO at Symphony Performance Health. In 2010, they were the Healthcare Information Technology Chief Software Technology Officer at Press Ganey Associates, followed by becoming the Health Information Technology CIO at Lifewatch USA in 2006. In 2002, they were the Director of Healthcare Solutions/Healthcare Information Technology at ePartners. In 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Rare Disease Data Trust (RDDT) and in 2021, they became the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Director at Deep Data Insight.

J Mark Tumblin completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pre Medicine at Lipscomb University from 1976 to 1979. J Mark then attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1979 to 1982, earning a BS in Anatomy Physiology Clinical Chemistry. In 2010, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Health Information Technology Management from Capella University.
