Yanni Sporidis

Yanni Sporidis is a Hardware Applications Development Engineer at Ras Labs, Inc. since January 2022, focusing on enhancing robotic dexterity through innovative embedded controller research and development. Prior experiences include leading interdisciplinary projects at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where notable achievements involved configuring biocompatible systems for mosquito larvae detection and conducting research to improve autonomous vehicle safety. As a salaried undergraduate researcher at the Georgia Tech Autonomous Racing Facility, Yanni received the Presidential Undergraduate Research Award and contributed to vehicle dynamics simulations. Additional roles at JUZO USA & CANADA and the Georgia Tech Research Institute involved R&D in wearable technology and agricultural robotics, respectively. Yanni holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a high school diploma from Kennesaw Mountain High School's STEM Magnet Program.
