Eric Kontargyris

Eric Kontargyris has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Eric is currently working as a Principal Solutions Engineer at Rasa, a position they assumed in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at OmniSci from February 2016 to September 2021 as a Principal Solutions Consultant. During their time at OmniSci, they utilized their expertise to provide solutions and consultations to clients.

Before joining OmniSci, Eric was a Sales Engineer at Metric Insights, Inc. from 2014 to 2016. In this role, they played a crucial part in introducing push intelligence to enterprise clients across different sectors. Eric achieved notable success by doubling new account ACV and attaining an 80% POC success rate. Eric also collaborated closely with the product management team to develop the company's roadmap based on feedback and enhancement requests from clients.

From 2010 to 2013, Eric served as the Director of Data Services & Analytics at RPX Corporation. Eric was responsible for overseeing data services and analytics functions during their time in this role. Additionally, they gained experience in coaching as a lacrosse coach for Town School for Boys and Marin Catholic High School.

Eric began their career in the financial sector, starting as an Investment Associate, PWM, at Morgan Stanley from 2008 to 2010. Eric then moved on to Lehman Brothers, where they held multiple roles including Investment Associate, PWM, Business Analyst in Fixed Income eTrading Technology, and Software Engineer in Profit and Loss Technology from 2002 to 2008. Eric had also previously interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Lehman Brothers in 2001.

Eric Kontargyris attended the Loomis Chaffee School from 1996 to 1998. After completing their studies there, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science from Washington and Lee University, graduating in 2002.
