Mahesh Kumar Sharma

Mahesh Kumar Sharma currently serves as Deputy General Manager in Research and Development at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, Vizag Steel Plant, a position held since November 2019, after progressing through various roles in the same organization since July 1998, including Assistant General Manager and Senior Manager. With extensive experience in R&D, Mahesh Kumar Sharma specializes in new research projects related to iron making, implementation of innovations, and management of Refractory and Mechanical Maintenance for coke oven batteries. Prior to joining Rashtriya Ispat Nigam, Mahesh Kumar Sharma worked as an Engineer at Mohan Steels from November 1996 to July 1998. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Modelling of Electric Steel Making from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
