Toby Smith

Application Support Manager at RateSetter

Toby Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. Toby started their career at SmithKline Beecham in 1992 as a PC Support specialist and worked there until 1997. Toby then joined The Bank of New York as a Rufus Support Analyst and stayed with the company for nine years. In 2006, Toby joined Bravura Solutions as a Senior Support Analyst and Team Leader, responsible for managing a team of up to 10 people. Toby worked there until 2010. During this time, Toby also worked at Lloyds Banking Group as an Application Support Analyst. In 2010, Toby joined Temenos as the European Customer Support Manager for the energycredit application, a role they held until 2016 when the business was acquired by Brady PLC. At Zopa, Toby worked as an Application Support Manager, managing a small team and resolving cases within defined SLAs using the Zopa application. Toby then moved to the University of London as a Service Operation & Support Manager and lastly, they worked at RateSetter as an Application Support Manager.

Toby Smith attended St. Dunstans College from 1978 to 1985. Toby obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computing and Information Systems (Modular Degree) from City of London Polytechnic from 1985 to 1988. Additionally, Toby has obtained certifications such as ITIL Foundation from ITIL in 2014, Introduction to Securities and Investments from IAQ in February 2008, and First Aid at work from St John Ambulance in May 2011.
