Rossella Merga

Rossella Merga has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Rossella started their career as a Textile Designer at AL over, where they worked on handmade designs and prepared fashion trends. Rossella then joined Tessitura e Stamperia Luigi Verga spa as a Textile Designer, where they focused on textile design development, research for inspirations, and creating hand drawings and computer graphics for collections. After that, they worked at Puntoseta s.r.l. as a Fabrics Research & Jacquard Development Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for researching fabrics and developing jacquard designs.

Most recently, Rossella worked at Ratti S.p.A. Società Benefit, where they held two positions. Firstly, as a Fabric Product Development Specialist for the Italy Luxury Market, they were involved in product development from design ideas to fabric selection, managed the sampling and production phase, and addressed potential printing problems. Secondly, they held the role of Fabric Product Development Specialist for the USA Luxury Market. In this position, they worked on ready-to-wear clothing, swimwear, and soft accessories for the high fashion market. Rossella managed USA customers, traveled to the USA regularly, and had a similar scope of work as their previous role, but focused on the USA market instead.

From 2008 to 2013, Rossella Merga attended Setificio I.S.I.S. Paolo Carcano where they completed their education in Textile Design. Rossella obtained a degree in Perito Tessile.
