Doug Gray has worked in a variety of roles since 2001, beginning with a position as a Customer Relationship Marketing Manager at GE CF Global Marketing HQ Team. In 2003, they moved to Raleigh International (Namibia) as a Project Manager. In 2004, they joined ING Nederland as a Senior Marketing Manager. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at ING Bank, Payments & Cash Management as the Head of Commercial Payment Solutions, Europe. During this time, they also served as an Advisory Board Member for Commercial Payments International. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at Barclaycard as the Director of Digital Transformation. In 2015, they joined Ixaris as the Chief Commercial Officer, and in 2018 they became Managing Director at FINTECH PAYMENT CONSULTING LIMITED. In 2020, they began working at Maxa Group as the Chief Commercial Officer, and in 2021 they joined Ravelin Technology as the Vice President - Head of Global Sales and Head of Sales (EMEA).

Doug Gray has an extensive education history. In 1980-1989 they attended The Edinburgh Academy. Following that, they attended University of Glasgow from 1990-1994, where they earned a BSc Hons in Geography. In 1996-1997, they attended University of Strathclyde, earning an MSc in Marketing. In 2007, they attended INSEAD for Finance for Executives. In 2008, they attended IMD for Mobilizing People. In 2010, they attended International Academy for Professional Development Ltd, earning an IAFPD Certificate in Coaching. Additionally, Doug Gray has obtained two certifications: Certified Agile Leadership Level 1 from the Scrum Alliance in 2017 and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in 2014.
