Jakob Toudahl Nielsen

Jakob Toudahl Nielsen is a Senior Bioinformatics Specialist at Raven Biosciences since May 2020, with a focus on bioinformatics, software development, AI, machine learning, and data science, specifically in the area of SARS-CoV-2 analysis. Additionally, Jakob serves as a Bioinformatics Consultant at Detect, working on at-home SARS-CoV-2 detection kits and engaging in research in bioinformatics and computational chemistry. Prior to these roles, Jakob held a position as a Data Scientist in early 2020 and was an Assistant Professor at Aarhus University from September 2006 to January 2020, specializing in data science, bioinformatics, and biostatistics. Jakob holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Southern Denmark.
