Shane Hartley has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative industry. In their most recent position as Creative Director, Global Games at Ravensburger, they were responsible for leading the creative aspects of the Disney Lorcana trading card game product, as well as providing creative strategy and visual direction for all games worldwide. Prior to this, Shane worked as an Art Director at Ravensburger North America, where they played a key role in new product development and presented design concepts to international teams. Shane also held positions as a Senior Art Director at Catalyst Marketing, an Art Director at A Crowded Coop, a Contract Packaging Designer at Costco Wholesale, and a Media Designer at Microsoft Studios. Earlier in their career, Shane worked at Microsoft Game Studios, becker&mayer!, and WizKids, Inc. in various design and art director roles. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, the ability to manage and mentor teams, and a talent for creating cohesive and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Shane Hartley's education history includes attending The Art Institutes from 1997 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Visual Communications with a focus on graphic design and illustration. Shane then returned to The Art Institutes from 2000 to 2001 to further their studies in the same field.
