Brandon Lackey, PE has extensive work experience in various engineering and construction roles. Brandon is currently serving as the Vice President of Construction at RavenVolt since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President at Midwest Electrical Construction, Inc. and President at Lackey Engineering from June 2021 to February 2022.

Brandon also has significant experience in project management and electrical engineering. Brandon worked as a Senior Project Manager/Electrical Engineer at Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC from August 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they successfully managed and supervised multiple projects worth $35MM, involving electrical power upgrades at Koch Fertilizer production facilities.

Before joining Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, Brandon worked at SpaceX as a Lead Power Systems Engineer from June 2016 to August 2018. Prior to that, they served as an Electrical/Automation Engineer at Koch Pipeline Company, L.P. from March 2013 to June 2016.

Additionally, Brandon worked as an Applications Engineer at National Instruments from June 2012 to March 2013. Brandon also gained experience as a Math and Physics Tutor at Kansas State University and as an Electrical Components Intern at Case New Holland.

Brandon started their career as a Carpenter at McDonald Construction in April 2010. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in construction management, electrical engineering, project management, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Brandon Lackey, PE completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kansas State University from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications over the years, including Commercial Drivers License (Class A with Air-Brakes) from the State of Kansas in October 2021, OSHA 30 Hour Training from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA in July 2021, Electrical Journeyman from Texas in March 2021, Medium Voltage Terminations from 3M in February 2021, Professional Engineer (PE) licenses in multiple states including AR, CO, KS, NE, OK, RI, TX, MI, and IL, obtained in December 2020, Licensed Master/Unlimited Electrician licenses in multiple states including KS, AR, MO, NC, CO, LA, MI, MT, and WI, obtained in October 2020, and Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification from National Instruments in March 2013.
