Peter Akman

Peter Akman has a diverse work experience with a number of different companies. In 2004, they were a Professional Athlete at Leicester City Football Club. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Founding Board Member of Digital Panorama (acquired by Koc Systems) and a Vice President at Citi. Peter was also an Investment & Technology Associate/Fellow at UCSD Center for Technology Commercialization and an Investment and Due Diligence Associate at Tech Coast Angels from 2009 to 2011. In 2008, they were a Researcher in Cellular Neural Engineering at the University of California at San Diego. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Portfolio and Accelerator Company at 500 Startups and a Volunteer Dive Master at The Florida Aquarium from 2019 to 2022. Most recently, they have been a Board Member and Founder at Raxar Corporation since 2014 and a Founder at Uno Maas Inc. since 2022.

Peter Akman graduated from UC San Diego in 2009 with a Master of Engineering in Engineering and Entrepreneurship, after having earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the same institution in 2005.
