Michelle Garwood

Michelle Garwood has several years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. Michelle is currently working as a Global Talent Acquisition Specialist at Rayner, a global pharma-medtech manufacturer. Their role involves recruiting and hiring top talent to meet the needs of the company and its patients.

Prior to their current position, Michelle worked at Barrington James, where they held multiple roles. Michelle started as a Research Associate, primarily focusing on data management and supporting consultants in delivering senior level placements. Michelle then progressed to the role of Researcher and later to Senior Researcher, specializing in board and executive searches in the life sciences industry. Their responsibilities included identifying and recruiting leaders in areas such as Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Throughout their career, Michelle has developed a broad network of influential individuals in the industry and has gained experience in global, key senior appointments.

Michelle Garwood completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business with Marketing from the University of Brighton between 2014 and 2017. In 2023 and 2024, they pursued further education at ICS Learn, where they earned a CIPD - Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, Human Resources.
