Ivar Bengtsson

Ivar Bengtsson is currently an Industrial PhD Student at RaySearch Laboratories since September 2020. Prior experience includes a Master Thesis internship at the National Institute of Informatics in Japan, focusing on optimal control and Learning Model Predictive Control algorithms. Ivar also interned at Ericsson, working on graph data visualization and optimization techniques in R Shiny, after contributing to various engineering projects as a Summer Engineering Intern. Additional roles included teaching assistance in Financial Mathematics at Kungliga tekniska högskolan, strategy work at A.T. Kearney, and managing services at Paxport. Ivar holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied and Computational Mathematics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, with a prior Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the same institution. An exchange semester was completed at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and foundational education was obtained at Kungsholmens Gymnasium, specializing in Natural Science.
