Shane G. Eddy

Shane G. Eddy is president of Pratt & Whitney, a Raytheon Technologies business. He leads more than 36,000 employees in a business that designs, manufactures and services aircraft engines and auxiliary power units.

Prior to his current role, he served as Pratt & Whitney’s chief operations officer, where he led business activities related to product quality; environmental, health and safety; supply chain; and manufacturing, with overall responsibility for meeting Pratt & Whitney’s commitments to safety, quality, ontime delivery and cost as they related to original equipment production.

Eddy joined Pratt & Whitney from GE Aviation, where he was vice president and general manager for turboshaft and turboprop engines. He also held a number of leadership positions at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and Bell Helicopter Textron.

Eddy holds an undergraduate degree from Canadore College, Ontario, and an MBA from Concordia University in Quebec.
