Nigel Deeks has extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industry, holding various engineering and managerial positions at Raytheon Systems Limited from 2001 to 2012, where roles included Senior Design Liaison Engineer and Design Liaison Engineer for the ASTOR project. Prior experience includes serving as Design Project Manager and Flight & Mechanical Systems Design Engineer at Raytheon Aircraft Holdings Inc. and Raytheon Aircraft, respectively. Deeks began a career in engineering as a Graduate Airframe Designer at Raytheon Corporate Jets after completing an Aeronautical Technical Apprenticeship with British Aerospace. In terms of education, Nigel Deeks earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing, Management & Technology from The Open University, a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, and additional qualifications in Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanical & Production Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire and Suffolk College.
