Scott Richter has extensive experience in credit and underwriting roles. Scott started their career as a Credit Analyst at Barnett Bank of Volusia County in 1993. Scott then worked as a Sr. Credit Analyst and Small Business Banker at SouthTrust Bank from 1994 to 1999. After that, they served as a Business Banking Manager at Wachovia Bank, N.A. from 1999 to 2002.

In 2002, Scott joined The Nature Conservancy as an Asst. Director of Land Protection before transitioning to GE Capital in 2003. At GE Capital, they held the position of Regional Credit Manager (Western US) and led a team of underwriters. Scott worked in this role until 2007.

From 2007 to 2015, Scott worked for GE Capital in various roles. Scott started as an Associate in Structured Lending, responsible for due diligence, underwriting, and post-transaction management of large structured debt facilities. Scott then became an Asst. Vice President in Workout and Restructuring, focusing on restructuring and workout procedures. From 2011 to 2015, they served as a Vice President in Underwriting & Portfolio Management, overseeing a $4 billion loan portfolio.

In 2015, Scott joined Raza Development Fund as the Director of Credit Administration. In this role, they were responsible for monitoring and enhancing the credit policy and underwriting guidance of the organization. Scott later became the Chief Credit Officer, focused on providing financing solutions and managing the investment portfolio.

Throughout their career, Scott demonstrated skills in credit analysis, underwriting, restructuring, and portfolio management. Scott has experience working with diverse loan portfolios and providing guidance to teams and support personnel.

Scott Richter attended Wofford College from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a BA degree in Finance. Scott also pursued further education at GE Crotonville, taking the Manager Development Course in an unspecified year and the Advanced Manager Course until 2012.
