Matthew Holford

Matthew Holford is a seasoned finance professional with significant expertise in Gilt and GBP swaps trading. Currently serving as Vice President at RBC Capital Markets since May 2023, Matthew previously held several key positions at Lloyds Banking Group from September 2015 to May 2023, including Associate Director and roles in rates trading and client asset management. Prior to this, Matthew gained experience as a Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst and a Design Engineer Intern at Kohler Mira, where a notable achievement included developing an advanced computational fluid dynamics technique. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton, as well as a Diploma in First Line Management from City of Bristol College.
