Dieter de Naeyer

Dieter De Naeyer currently serves as the Project Manager for the Video Assistant Referee at the Royal Belgian Football Association since January 2017. In addition, Dieter co-founded MoveteX in January 2015, a company specializing in operations research, optimization algorithms, and simulation studies across various industries including logistics and sports planning. Concurrently, Dieter also co-founded RefAssist, a leading cloud platform for referee management and communication. Prior experience includes working as a Process Modeling Engineer at Arcelor Mittal from October 2011 to December 2014 and conducting PhD research in Biomedical Engineering at Ghent University from September 2007 to September 2011. Dieter holds a Master of Engineering in Applied Physics from Ghent University, obtained in 2007.
