Sumit Kumar

Sumit leads the Financial Advisory initiative for entire South India and brings rich experience of around 15 Years to RBSA Advisors in the areas of valuation advisory (including valuation for reporting, regulatory and transaction purposes), transaction support, financial feasibility studies, financial modeling, fundraising, mergers & corporate restructuring. He has extensive experience in the valuation of intangibles like brand, patents, trademarks and customer relationships, etc. He has also carried out purchase price allocations (under IFRS and USGAAP) and portfolio valuations (using IPEVC Guidelines). His previous associations have been with esteemed organizations like Deloitte, KPMG, Grant Thornton, BMR Advisors. Before joining RBSA Advisors he was Associate Partner with BDO India.

In his professional career Sumit has worked with Clients in multiple sectors like Financial Services (including life insurance and microfinance), Manufacturing, Infrastructure, IT & ITES (incl. Ecommerce), Travel & Leisure, Luxury Products, Energy and Real Estate. Sumit has an MBA degree in Finance and is a CFA (ICFAI), he is also a cost accountant.
