Gerhard Kschwendt has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Gerhard most recently worked at RBW as the Vice President of Operations, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Product Operations at RBW from September 2022 to February 2023.
Before joining RBW, Gerhard was the Managing Director at Sellside Group, LLC from July 2022 to September 2022. Prior to that, they held several roles at WAB US Corp, including Chief Executive Officer from April 2021 to July 2022 and President and COO from October 2018 to March 2021. In these roles, they successfully led and grew the North American business unit, achieving strong sales growth and profit improvement.
From January 2018 to March 2021, Gerhard worked as the President at Sapientia Advisors, where they provided strategic and operational advice to C-level executives and board members in the aerospace and automotive industries. Gerhard also supported private equity, investment management, and professional services firms with market and competitive assessments.
Prior to that, they held high-level positions at Arconic, Alcoa, Siemens Healthcare, Siemens Corporation, and Dove Consulting, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills and achieved significant business growth and profitability.
Gerhard Kschwendt obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau in 1992. Gerhard then pursued an MBA in Finance and Marketing at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, completing their studies in 1994.
